Plastic Media Engineering Ltd is a subsiduary of SDS specialising in industral cooling and waste water treatment. We offer a wide range of structured plastic media products for these industries, including cross-flow media, vertical-flow media and tube settlers.

Our products have been supplied and installed in over 60 UK trickling filter schemes for carbonaceous and nitrification treatment, so we have considerable expertise in their design and performance. For plastic media trickling filters with population equivalents greater than 1000, we can provide free advice in their sizing and design.

Given the flows, loads and discharge consent requirements of your project we can also provide the following information for your specification: volume of media required, surface area, optimum media depth, minimum wetting rate requirement, ventilation requirements, SK rates and design calculations.
